The Inspector Asphalt Education Program is recommended for TxDOT Inspectors, CE&I Firms, and City/County Inspectors. This program will focus on TxDOT specifications and projects. Participants will better understand roles and responsibilities, key aspects of production and construction necessary to provide proper inspection services for asphalt pavement projects.


Registration for each class will open three months in advance and is currently open for classes through February. Each class will be held over the course of six sessions, meeting from 8-10:30 AM CST twice weekly for three weeks.

WHO SHOULD ENROLL?

We encourage all interested participants to enroll in multiple courses for a well-rounded education in asphalt pavements.

WHERE ARE WORKSHOPS HELD?

Classes are held virtually and in our online learning environment.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?

Each course will be six sessions, held twice weekly for three weeks. Additional time is required for at-home assignments.

HOW MUCH DOES THE PROGRAM COST?

Fees will be determined on a program-to-program basis and will be listed on the registration website.
 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

1. Courses are designed with the participant in mind; the focus is on interactive and experiential learning. We promise to use PowerPoint responsibly!

2. These courses will deliver the highest quality education available in the Asphalt Industry.

3. Online lectures will be tied to an online resource where participants can access course materials and additional course content; it’s a one-stop experience for everything asphalt in Texas.

4. Each participant will take away what they need to know to do their job safely, more efficiently, and more effectively
