Safety Tips for Driving at Night

Use these tips when you walk, bike or travel at night.
•Pedestrians –
1.Be Visible. Walk in well-lit areas.
2.Wear bright or reflective clothing. Be Seen. Be Safe.
3.Assume drivers can not see you.
•Bicyclists –
1.Turn on your front white light and red taillight at night. Rear reflectors are also required.
2.Be visible. Chose well-light routes.
3.Always wear a helmet. The brighter the better.
•Motorists –
1.Be alert. Pedestrians and bicyclists are not easily seen at night.
2.Avoid distractions while driving. Focus on the road.
3.Always stop on red and watch out for pedestrians before making a right turn.
